Professor Dan Ariely and Duke Alumni in Tel Aviv
The Fuqua School of Business has the great pleasure of inviting you to an "irrational" event featuring Professor Dan Ariely on Friday, June 24th, 10:00 a.m. at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya, Arison School of Business. We hope you can join us and meet one of Duke's most celebrated professors, along with Duke MBA alumni and admitted students, in Tel Aviv.
Dan Ariely is the James B. Duke Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics and author of the bestseller, Predictably Irrational. At this session, Dan will discuss how the principles of behavioral economics can help us understand some of the irrationalities that influence everyday behavior, including the effects that expectations have on our decisions and the mechanisms behind dishonest behavior that allow us to think of ourselves as honest even when we act dishonestly. He will also explore ways that our intuitions and expectations about executive compensation are often misguided.
To join us for this event, please register here. Attire for the event is business casual, and light refreshments will be served.
